Storyline
Natty Gann is a 12-year-old Depression-era girl whose single father leaves her behind in Chicago while he goes to Washington State to look for work in the timber industry. Natty runs away from the guardian she was left with to follow Dad. She befriends and is befriended by a wolf that has been abused in dog fights, hops a freight train west, and is presumed dead when her wallet is found after the train crashes. Dad gets bitter and endangers himself in his new job. Meanwhile, Natty has a series of adventures and misadventures in various farmhouses, police stations, hobo camps, reform schools, and boxcars.
【娜提尋父記】（The Journey of Natty Gann）是迪士尼１９８５年推出的電影，本片是一部走溫馨、冒險路線的電影。
【娜提尋父記】故事發生在經濟大恐慌的１９３０年代，主角女孩 Natty 的單親父親 Sol Gann 為了尋求更好的工作機會，於是離開芝加哥遠赴華盛頓州的林地當伐木工，然而思念父親的１２歲女孩 Natty 卻決定與父親相聚，於是她從監護者之處逃走，千里迢迢展開她的尋父之旅。在途中她認識了一隻被虐待要成為鬥犬的狼狗，以及一位年輕的流浪少年 Harry ，相識後他們一起結伴同行，展開一連串驚險刺激的冒險。但是在一次火車旅程中， Natty 遺漏了她的物品在火車鐵軌上，被人發現後都推斷她已經身亡，這樣的壞消息也傳到華盛頓州她父親的耳中，悲痛萬分的他還必須每天面對危險萬分的工作。然而另一方面，他卻不知道，尚在人間女兒 Natty 正跟夥伴們朝著他的所在地逐漸接近中。
本片是由 Jeremy Paul Kagan 所執導，在影片中飾演女主角 Natty Gann 的是 Meredith Salenger ，她當年在本片中的表現為她贏得一座美國最佳年輕女演員獎。飾演流浪少年 Harry 則是當年還很年輕稚嫩的當今好萊塢知名男星 John Cusack ，至於飾演 Natty 父親 Sol Gann 的則是 Ray Wise ， 本片中其他的演員還包括有 Lainie Kazan 、Scatman Crothers 、Barry Miller …等等。擔任本片配樂的則是 James Horner ，本片被認為是他該時期代表佳作，但本片電影原聲帶ＣＤ版並未正式出版，只有推出過 promo ＣＤ，如今實在是十分難找。另外，負責本片服裝的 Albert Wolsky 也因為本片而被提名當年奧斯卡最佳服裝設計獎項。
【娜提尋父記】在台灣未曾發行過任何影音產品上市，但曾經有商家自行進口的ＬＤ，如今恐怕也很難能找到，本片已曾經安排於台灣的迪士尼頻道上播出過。本片坊間還有流傳另一譯名【狼女傳奇】。
